Birthday Visit
Visited with my mum and sister for a birthday snack, it was my mums birthday. Lovely bagels, Salmon and Cream Cheese. Really good coffee too. Friendly, quick service and with a smile. Will be back

Lovely Staff
I actually stopped coming here as I got fed up of a lot of staff being behind the counter but no one keen to serve as they chatted amongst themselves. Also, often had to chase up drinks which had failed to arrive so all round, more of a challenge than a nice experience! Anyway, I have now been in twice in the past fortnight - what a difference! Not sure if it’s under new management but I’ve met the new male co-owner who is lovely, the team behind the counter are warm, friendly and welcoming. Oh, and the cakes and hot drinks are ‘spot-on’. I now feel valued as a customer hence posting this positive review.

Lovely little cafe but could improve on a few minor things
Delicious cakes and good selection of hot drinks. Would be great if they added chai latte to their menu. Staff very friendly. Had our dog with us. Unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed inside which is a shame as it meant we had to sit outside which was cold and wet. They do have a covered outdoor area with heaters under one side but none of the tables in that area were free so we were quite chilly. Also the chairs were all wet - would be better if staff had wiped them down after the rain. I recommend the pecan, cranberry and chocolate slice.

Great pit stop if travelling through for breakfast, lunch or afternoon cake. We are regular visitors to the Coffee Shop. We have tried a selection of hot food and fabulous cakes. The breakfast, baked potatoes and cakes are delicious and food portions are generous. Newspapers are sold daily and a good selection of cards and stationery are available from the post office which adjoins the coffee shop. Staff are friendly and Suzie, who manages the shop is bright and bubbly and makes it a joy to visit. So many villagers and visitors rely on this community spirited venue and it has certainly been a highlight during these very interesting and testing times. Thank you.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had! Being no stranger to breakfasts, I can tell a good one from an average one. This one is GREAT!! Perfectly cooked, great ingredients served hot. I couldn’t fault it in the slightest. My wife had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, commenting that they were the best scrambled eggs she’d had. This was our second visit to the coffee shop, having previously had sausage and egg and sausage sandwiches. Again, lovely bread and perfectly cooked sausages. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to return!
